- Enhanced security — including SSHv2 and various levels of proprietary privileges — provides top reliability.
- Redundancy methods include Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS)*, Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP) and customer Redundancy Protocol (MRP) devices.
- The interfaces include a command line interface (CLI), simple Network Management program (SNMP), JavaScript subject log Remote Method Call (JSON-RPC) and a very user friendly Hirschmann blog interface.
“Companies are currently experiencing increasing demand for automation and IT/OT convergence, resulting in an increasing need to capture, transmit and monitor large amounts of data,” said Mariel Oettinger, Product executive at Belden. “LEMUR Lite Managed Switch Family delivers the advanced data agility required in a budget-friendly and space-saving form factor with the easy-to-use HiEOS blog interface. This allows companies to get all the useful switch features they need without paying for things they don’t, while simplifying switch management and saving money over time.”
